Through its
subsidiary, Future Forward Events, LLC, Silverweave hosts
invitation-only dinners and multi-day events for technology and life
sciences executives. Recent
speakers at these programs have included Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google,
Senator Edward Kennedy and Ray Kurzweil.
Approximately 500 executives attend these programs each year.
The
first Nantucket Conference took place in 2000.
Held each year since its inception at
Harbor
House
Village
on Nantucket
Island, this event brings together approximately 175 of the region’s top
technology forward thinkers for two and a half days of engaging panel
discussion and social networking events.
Following the success of the Nantucket
Conference, Silverweave introduced Future Forward in 2001.
Today, this program brings together a select group of
approximately 100 of the region’s top technology innovators for a one
day retreat.
Convergence:
The Life Sciences Leaders Forum began in 2004.
Approximately 150 of the leading thinkers in the life sciences
industry participate in the program each year.
There are nine programs scheduled for 2006
including a dinner for life sciences executives and investors in
Palo Alto,
California.
